Participant Feedback
Feedback from 3-Day Riding Academy Participants
“I have never learned so much in such a short period of time that has made such a dramatic change in my horse's behavior and mine. I loved the fact that there were no auditors - all the attention was on the 4 participating students.” Kim Jaye - Oconomowoc, WI
“Very helpful and thorough outline - Ideal pace of training. You are truly an accomplished horsewoman. I am in awe of your abilities and so much appreciated spending these three days with you and your fine school horses at this world-class facility." Sandy Bury - Peoria, IL
“I felt the school horses were very helpful in understanding the gaits - both in riding and watching them. The individual attention that I received made me feel like I was having a private lesson. The objectives and techniques to be taught were made very clear consistently through the program.” Myrna Ramsey - Woodstock, IL
“The 3-Day-Program was the most helpful, usable information that I have ever received since buying my Missouri Foxtrotter. It was such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend it.” Marica Elmer - Sun Prairie, WI
“I enjoyed the entire weekend. I found riding the school horses an excellent learning experience. To ride young horses so well trained, and being taught how to properly collect them, identify each of their gaits and transitioning from one gait to another was most helpful in learning the gaits of my own foxtrotter. The exercises with the bit and learning what 4 oz. of pressure was, made an impression of just what riding with “quiet hands” means. Cyndi is very positive but direct, very attentive and observant, kept our attention on learning and improving our relationship with our horse." Sara Knapp - Pekin, IL
“I really like the structure and pace allowed for individual attention. The expertise - base of knowledge was awesome. I liked the realistic approach to problems. This was a fantastic learning opportunity for me and I know it will be a part of my life from now on.” Elizabeth Vacek - St. Robert, MO
“Liked the variety in the program, no one topic or exercise was too long or too short. Riding different school horses for a variety in styles and gaits were invaluable. Variety in equipment exposure was very helpful”. Cindy Marshall - Blacklick, OH
“Excellent Facilities - the school horses were a blast! Each one very unique, patient, kind horses. I was able to relax and learn from them.” Connie Kieser - Morton, IL
“Cyndi was extremely knowledgeable. She is very good at explaining how the rider is affecting the horse - good and bad. She explains why we should do something differently versus just telling us to do it. Cyndi is very good at recognizing each person and each horse’s needs and works with them individually. She answers every question patiently and thoroughly. This program is a MUST for all Foxtrotter owners.” Lara Curry - Middleton, WI
“Would recommend this 3 day class to anyone who owns or thinking of purchasing a Foxtrotter. Cyndi’s knowledge is wonderful, and is very willing to share that knowledge with others. Her passion for foxtrotters comes through. She is very sincere - very caring about the horses well-being. Got more from this weekend than any other Foxtrotter and/or gaited horse clinic/information session, book, DVD, etc.” Cynthia Fenstemaker - Hanna City, IL
