Cyndi Plasch Biography

Growing up on the plains of South Dakota, Cyndi has been "horseback" since
she was 4 years old.  She would ride anything should could get on, usually
bareback, giving her great balance and a natural ability to bond and communicate
with the horse to establish respect and partnership, giving the horse a willingness
to learn.

Cyndi is very passionate about Missouri Foxtrotters.  She believes they have
much to offer someone looking for an all around pleasure horse.  She loves the
versatility and variety of body styles within the breed.  They are intelligent, loving,
willing, very athletic, and all around tough.

Cyndi's goal is to help teach people to learn to read and understand their
Missouri Foxtrotter. She strives for the rider and horse to establish communication
and respect.  As she educates the rider on how to ride their horse, she helps the
horse relax and gait properly, so together they can reach their fullest potential.
Cyndi's teaching and training methods assist in developing that lifelong bond
between horse and rider.

She is a combination of cowgirl, "can do it attitude", and gaited horse trainer who
works with the horse AND rider from start to finish.  Cyndi has worked with
numerous people who have purchased their first gaited horse, assessing the
abilities of these new riders, then helping them partner with a horse appropriate
to their needs. She prefers to buy young stock (weanling to 2 yr olds) and develop
them from the beginning, to produce very well-mannered and trained Missouri
Foxtrotters that gait naturally and correctly for her clients.

She has also worked with enthusiasts from other disciplines (dressage,
hunter jumper, saddle seat, and western riding) to help locate their first
Missouri Foxtrotter and then follows through with lessons, training, and
coaching to make it a successful transition.

Cyndi does assessments on Missouri Foxtrotters for behavioral problems and
gaiting issues. Her method of training is to work with the rider and the horse
individually. She gives lessons on one of her well-trained horses and teaches
the rider how to ride a gaited horse properly.  Cyndi then works with the client's
horse and its issues. Once she has the rider understanding the balance and
feel of riding a gaited horse and has their horse gaiting correctly, Cyndi coaches
the rider and horse together to become an effective working partnership.
