Our 3 Day Program...
offers a down to earth, hands-on approach to help you understand and achieve
success with your Missouri Foxtrotter.
Program fee:
$510 (bring your horse; includes lunch daily plus horse accommodations and feed)
or $580 (use a school horse for the full program; includes lunch daily).
3-Day Program includes:
- Conditioning your Foxtrotter
- Proper Equitation on a Gaited Horse
- Balanced Seat
- Communicating with hands/seat/legs
- Collection & Framing
- Finding and recognizing the gaits
- Staying IN gait
- Transition from one gait to another & back down

Introduction to the Missouri Foxtrotter...
offers a factual background on the Missouri Foxtrotter breed, opportunity to ride school
horses, learn about Foxtrotter gaits, and how to find the right Foxtrotter for you. Participants
leave the program with the knowledge and information to select the RIGHT Foxtrotter to
meet their unique needs.
Program fee: $125.
This 1-Day program is ideal for:
- People who want to experience riding a Foxtrotter
- People who want to learn how to identify, ask for, and maintain the gaits
- People who are considering purchasing a Foxtrotter
"Refining Your Skills" for Current Foxtrotter Owners ...
offers a practical, customized approach that utilizes school horses to practice equitation
skills, identifying, asking, transitioning, and maintaining gaits. Learn how to communicate
with your hands and seat, and how to collect and frame your gaited horse.
Program fee: $125.
This 1-Day program includes:
- Classroom instruction, learning terminology and techniques
- Bitting and saddling issues
- Riding instruction on 3-4 school horses
